Plans

My power washer and I spent the day outside yesterday. We cleaned lawn chairs on the driveway, wiping away grime and swallow poop. Then we went to the back porch and did the same. We even cleaned window screens, windows, and walls. It was a productive morning. It now sits in the dog run waiting for me to return.

I’ll be back Monday when we’ll do the dog run and front porch. In the old days, I would have done them all in a day, but now days, I’m old and short bursts of work are way more productive. So, now it’s one porch at a time in detail. I’m even going to clean the fans and I have never done that in the 13 years we’ve lived here. It is way past time. I tried one yesterday but realized I needed to remove the blades to do a proper job. I’ll come back to it. I promise.

No work today, I’m meeting Houston friends for lunch then going to a local friend’s house for dinner. It should be a nice, relaxing day. At least that’s what I’ve got planned. My new eyes and I will probably read a book, maybe listen to music, maybe make a little music, and probably take a walk outside. It looks like rain, but the sky is probably just flirting with me and doesn’t really mean it. Mother nature is a vixen like that. Oh, well. It shan’t get me down.
