Another Lesson
I don’t know what to make of this. My current streak in Wordle is 118 days. My streak started on June 22. That was the night I saw Reckless Kelly at Gruene Hall. I went by myself.
Rock and Roll
don’t believe this. I just read an article about a new Rolling Stones album. I listened to a track. I’m excited. Keith Richards is 79 and Mick Jagger is 80. And they’re still making music, creating music.
Keeping Busy
I did it. Fixed my dryer. It took a $25 part, two weeks of waiting, and a YouTube video. I was all set to just buy another dryer. But as I checked out the prices, I thought what’s the worst that could happen.
Satisfied
There was thunder, lightning, and rain yesterday. I measured .20 of an inch. Hardly record setting but a good start to what might prove a rainy week. We need it.
Attainable Goal
I spent most of the morning yesterday, in the battle with Khaki weed, on my knees, digging. I think we’re at the end game.
Garden Thoughts
I was thinking about joy yesterday and trying to remember where I used to find it. And while I was thinking about it the subject of happiness came up as did pleasure and I began to wonder how inter-related they all were and if you could have one without the others.
