When to Mow
It’s a lovely day in the neighborhood. We have clouds, which means the morning sun can give us a show, and it did so. I spooked a small herd of deer when I walked out my gate to get a better look.
Magic Show
The grass in the pasture is a light spring green, and the trees are fully leafed. The recent rains did well by us, and all the plants seem happy.
Last Light
Went to watch the sky yesterday in the hills just south of town. It was mostly blue with scattered clouds.
What I See
It’s another chill morning on the homestead. The cats are fed, and the morning deer have retreated into the anonymity of the woods. Gray clouds are riding a southerly breeze and reflecting the morning sun.
Good Morning
I can really sense the tempo of the earth at morning. Get a feel for the slow spin of the planet on its axis in its heavenly circle around the sun. It’s a measured pace of big things in a big place…
