A Day On
Two days later and I’m still stunned at my Friday turn of events. For an entire week I had worked non-stop to schedule what I thought was a life saving surgery and make sure I had the best hands possible doing the work.
It’s Time
It was a beautiful morning yesterday, cool and the air was gentle on my skin. It mattered little that I thought the air belonged to Friday. It was still a nice day.
A Little Kindness
Here we are at the end of the year. Wow. For the first time in recent memory, I’ve heard no discussion from my friends as to evening plans, even though for the last eight years, at least, our evening plans consisted of going to bed, and discussions were basically a formality.
