Vac Day 3

My vaccination symptoms, such as they were, have abated. My shoulder is no longer sore. I did wake up last night with a fiery pain in one of my arthritic feet, but it too went away. Hard to know if it was a symptom of the shot, or just some random old guy nerve thing. I got up walked around, had a drink, and went back to bed. It did occur to me that if Bill Gates was injecting microchips with the vaccine that maybe it was settling in my foot. It seems a logical place since it would track my movements. But, given that I carry a tracking device with me on a daily basis, it would probably be a waste of money to embed me with another chip.

I’ve also heard the vaccine would alter my DNA, and my foot pain made me think of shows like the Hulk, although I have no idea why, if it were altering my DNA, it would start with my feet. It seems as though it would go for the brain, and maybe that’s why headaches are on the list of possible symptoms. But, honestly, I have no idea about the details of gene therapy or what is involved in editing a person’s DNA. From what I’ve read it’s not site specific. It’s a whole-body thing. And you have to inject a little tool, and it’s really, really complicated. Probably too much for a one CC shot or even two.

I am feeling pretty good I was able to get the vaccine, but I’m also feeling a little guilty that friends of mine are having a hard time doing the same. Me getting it was just the luck of the draw, and I wish there were some way I could reciprocate or pay it forward. I’ll have to look into that. Meanwhile, even though the percentage of Texans inoculated is below 50%, it’s a big state, so that’s a lot of people, it does seem as though efforts to get the vaccine out are increasing. And news is trickling in from friends that they’re finding shots. Good. Here’s to a future that may approach normal once again.
