What We Had
Celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of my friends’ wedding yesterday. It was nice to see everyone. It made me think of my fiftieth wedding anniversary. It happened during Covid. June 2020.
No Fear
I’m lucky. My drug of choice when I’m down, is yard work. I felt funky the last week or so, laid low by memories of a departed wife and old camping trips.
Odds and Ends

All Done

Back in the day, which is a weird way to say, when I was younger, I worked for the Houston Chronicle. I was still in high school. None of this matters.

Data Points
Yesterday morning, all I could tell you about the rain was that it was falling. Today, this morning, I am able to report in what volume. Nearly, two inches.
How Happy Feels
Here we are. Another day another dollar. Can’t tell whether the latter is coming or going. Probably going. That pretty much defines retirement and fixed incomes.
Standing
Like an old dog, I stood in the sun yesterday and did nothing. Three times.
